We try to keep it simple, so whatever you buy for delivery to the UK, the delivery price is the same, a flat £2.95 for STANDARD shipping (3-5 days), or FREE if you spend over £30. You can upgrade to FAST shipping (usually next day) for £3.95, and it’s free on orders over £75. If speed is really important to you, you can upgrade to SUPER FAST shipping (by 1pm next day), which is Special Delivery or equivalent with another carrier. But check our cutoff times below.
For countries we ship to, international shipping varies by parcel weight. But it starts at just £4.95 for Europe. We don’t currently give prices for parcels over 2kg as they can be very expensive to some countries. If you are interested, contact us for a quote. In many cases you will find it cheaper to split your order into two. We ship to very few countries other than Europe. The system won’t let you order if it’s not set up. We definitely don’t ship to North America (sorry folks, it’s to do with regulatory and legal risk, as well as insurance limitations) Australia, New Zealand or UAE, but we are prepared to look at adding other countries by request.
If you might not be in when the parcel is delivered, then please feel free to put a delivery note asking for it to be delivered to a safe place – and some people even ask for parcels to be left on their doorstep. We will try to mark what you ask on the label, but in some cases, we may not be able to, for example as higher value parcels may need a signature. Also, we can’t guarantee what your postman will do. And finally, we can’t take responsibility for what happens to it. All parcels have delivery confirmations whether you sign for them or not. And if Royal Mail tell us a parcel was delivered, you asked for it to be left on your doorstep and mysteriously it isn’t there when you get home… sorry but that is your responsibility.
Yes. All our parcel deliveries are tracked. Unfortunately, Royal Mail does not feed the tracking numbers back to us in a way we can show you automatically. But if you are concerned, send us a message and we will look into it for you. The deliveries are unbelievably reliable and it’s incredibly rare that a parcel gets lost. But problems can occur when you’re not in and they forget to leave a card, so check with us if you think that might have happened.
It sounds crazy, but we have worked out a way to save shipping costs by providing a better service! Sometimes, depending on what other parcels are being shipped, we need to lower the average parcel weight of the entire FAST shipment. And we can do that by upgrading lighter parcels to the faster service. And if we did that for you, you got lucky on that occasion!
We aim for 4pm on weekdays. Sometimes this can be earlier, so check first if your parcel is urgent. Anything requiring a courier, such as heavier parcels, may have a cutoff of 11am.
We usually also dispatch on Saturdays, and the cutoff is about 11am. But, sometimes we may not have the resources to do a Saturday dispatch, and the parcels will go on the Monday.
